The Smoke Free 101 App features essential information on the harms of tobacco use amongst youth and adults and resources to become smoke free. Information is derived from free resources including the Centers for Disease Control, featuring infographics and text, with links directly to the CDC website. Our goal is to raise awareness of the problem of tobacco use in their community, and and help push toward a tobacco-free generation. The app encourages users to share photos and short videos of their smoke free and tobacco free events in the community, including Kick Butts Day (https://www.takedowntobacco.org/about). All photos and video that are uploaded to the app are first approved by the HEART Coalition before being posted to the app.
